The Ocean is Our Way of Life
Welcome to Echo Divers! We are an SSI dive center located on the beautiful island, Koh Tao. Echo Divers formed after teaming up with Echo Hostel Koh Tao, which is located just across the road. Although we are a new company formed in 2024, our team of instructors has many years of experience. We pride ourselves on having high standards and are committed to giving each student a professional experience, while keeping it a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our aim is not only to give you an unforgettable experience, but also to make you feel a more confident diver and become part of the Echo family.
MEET THE TEAM
Eddy Sprinks
Instructor, Manager and Co-owner
Growing up in nature, surrounded by lakes and mountains in Germany, Eddy always felt most at home outside at the top of a mountain or in a lake or ocean. He left home at a young age to become a carpenter, so he could find work wherever he decided to go. Living in Australia and the Dominican Republic made him fall deeply in love with the ocean and all it had to offer. When he sadly realized he would never be able to become a fish, he decided to do the next best thing and become a diver. Seeing how much joy it brought to him in his training, he wanted to give the same experience to others by becoming an instructor.
Fazzi Giancarlo
Instructor, Manager and Co-owner
Giancarlo (nick named Faz)
Although he comes from an Italian family, he lived most of his life in Glasgow, Scotland. He has always been fascinated by the ocean and always loved to learn more about what goes on under the waves. So it was only natural for him that when he did his open water course, he was immediately hooked!
He did all of his training here on Koh Tao and has been working here as an instructor ever since. For Fazzi, the most rewarding part of the job is introducing new divers to a whole new world under the sea. He hopes that from this experience, people will have a better understanding and appreciation towards the ocean and the sea life within.

OUR INCREDIBLE STAFF
Pia Lewandowsky
Instructor, Marine Biologist
Pia was born in a small village in Germany. She has always been fascinated by the water and after her first holiday with her parents in Egypt her obsession with the ocean began. Her heart beats for marine nature and wildlife. She could spend the entire day under water, and luckily she discovered scuba diving and was able to make her dream a reality. If she is not diving you will find her snorkeling with the baby sharks at the beatiful beach of Aow Leuk. Due to her love of the ocean she started her scuba diving journey on Gili Air (Indonesia), where she discovered her love and obsession for corals. After a while this obsession turned into her job. First as a marine biologist for different Conservation Projects that help preserve the ocean and its wildlife, then as a professional dive instructor to connect both worlds. She can tell you hundreds of facts about the ocean and its residents that will just leave you speechless.
Josh Kerr
Instructor
The octopus in the photo otherwise known as Josh. is a passionate dive instructor based here in Koh Tao. With a deep love for the ocean, he thrives on sharing the underwater experience with others, making it his mission to expand the Echo family of divers. After falling in love with diving on his very first dive, Josh finds joy in witnessing the awe and excitement of newcomers as they explore the captivating underwater world. His dedication to teaching and creating unforgettable experiences makes him an integral part of the diving community.

Hey, I'm Echo! I basically run the show around here. I like long walks on the beach and taking a poop in the ocean while I watch the beautiful sunset settle down at my beach, 2 minutes away from ECHO DIVERS. If you're in need of a cuddle I'm always here to help.

Hey, I'm Malika! I disagree with Echo im the boss around here! If i am not in the shop you may see me on top of a mountain taking the view in from one of Koh Taos beautiful view point. (warning i will lick you and demand cuddles)
